What does Entering into Canaan mean to believers today?

It is the Promise Land and represents Christian redemption and all that it entails. 

Canaan means THREE things to believers:

1. Freedom: The Israelites moved from slaves to free-men. We move from slaves to sin to saints.

2. Fullness: The Israelites went from a desert diet to delicious delights. We have moved from the emptiness of the world to heavenly satisfaction.

3. Fulfillment: Their vision became a venture. Our changed life has now become a marvelous journey. We have freedom to serve Him. We have forgiveness of all our sins. We have a new heart, a new attitude and new strength to do what is right.
